This was the first time I ever used Overhead Door Company of Greater Syracuse. My home was built in 1930, and the garage door and mechanism is the original one put in 90 years ago. This one still used chains and huge springs. I was having some problems, so I called them and they sent out an older gentleman to look at it. Luckily, he was old enough to know all about these kind of doors. Parts are no longer available, and I was afraid I would just have to replace the door. But he was able to modify the chain and the bracket fitting and keep it working.
